An international offshore company located in Singapore is seeking a Technical Superintendent on permanent position.



         SGD 15000 per month max

         Employee will be responsible for their own accommodation and tax in Singapore

         14 days annual leave

         14 day medical leave

         Entitled to all other leaves as per Company policy


         5 days work week, 9 am to 6 pm



         Have an overall responsibility for the health and safety of the personnel under their supervision;

         It is expected that superintendents shall take an active and visible leadership role in promoting HSEQ and proactive upholding the Company HSEQ objectives;

         Ensuring all equipment necessary for the safe conduct of the operation is available and properly maintained and certified;

         Responsible for management and technical operations of dedicated vessels. This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections and docking, etc;

         Ensure the assigned vessels are technically operational or otherwise managed accordingly to the management agreement requirement;

         Liaise with customers on technical and operational matters including vessel performance, etc.;

         Responsible for vessel dry docking, repairs and survey when required and determine repair specifications for dry docking and maintenance, ensure to inform and co-operation with Maintenance Manager;

         During DD & Pit Stop Superintendent should be present onboard and as far as possible also live onboard.

         Provide and compile documented reports upon completion of dry docking, including summaries of works performed, operational budgets, and actual expenditures;

         Identify and source for technical and operational supplies required for the vessels and ensure the rates are most economical;

         Perform evaluation for dry-docking, repair quotes and selection of shipyards for repair works, ship maintenance etc in co-operation with Maintenance Manager;

         Perform monthly review of logs received from vessels;

         Monitor status of vessel with relation to class cert and survey;

         Perform budgeting and cost control measures on ship spares and docking requirements;

         Approve vessels purchasing according to relevant SIMS processes;

         Undertake any Technical related assignments from Technical Manager when required;

         Participate and be an active part in team meetings.

         Visit vessels at least once a year.



         Min. 3 years of experience in similar capacity for OSV, OCV, DSV, Barges

         Previous sea going experience as Chief Engineer onboard DP OSV vessels

         Good knowledge and experience with Planned Maintenance System 

         Good Computer knowledge, MS Office and Lotus Notes

         Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot marine technical issues with good budget control

         Ability to travel within short notice
